DARVAL/CPS has offered the following services, and solutions on the African continent:
- Electricity sector studies: network integrity and reliability assessment, new generation and transmission integration, short circuit analysis, protection system evaluation and recommendation studies, analysis of the reactive power compensation and recommendations.
- Equipment: reactive power compensation equipment for Angola’s transmission lines; transformers for the transmission lines; capacitor banks.
- Training: operation training for junior and senior personnel of Angola’s government-owned energy company (ENE) in the area of generation, transmission, protection and maintenance, monitoring, and general planning. Cepel modeling software training.
- Monitoring and auditing services: operational monitoring of the production, delivery, and installation of compensation equipment in the transmission grid of Angola.
- Consulting: technical guidance and consulting for the installation of new generation and transmission infrastructure in Angola.
